Official Emblem of Shinchonji–The Eternal Flame

The official emblem of the 5th Shinchonji National 

Olympiad: Culture and Art of Heaven, was the eternal flame,which wad symbolized by the torch of victory 

and harmony.

The letters ‘S’ and ‘C’ from the word Shinchonji 

forms the burning flame, and announces to the world the heavenly culture of Shinchonji.

In the center, the letter ‘J’ is written representing 

the open word of testimony of the Bible,which will spread from Mt. Zion like water. 

In addition, the circular shape at the bottom of

the emblem symbolizes the unchanged harmony 

and unity among the people of Shinchonji.

The Official Mascots-Ari & Omi of Shinchonji

The characters named ‘Ari’ and ‘Omi’ were the official mascots of the 5th Shinchonji National Olympiad: Culture and Art of Heaven,and are created based on ‘alpha’ and ‘omega’ which signifies creation.

The throne of God is represented by jasper and carnelian,which symbolizes heaven and earth 

(the spiritual world) and the earth and mankind 

(the physical world) respectively. As the mascots 

are participating in a wedding banquet, they are 

wearing the Korean traditional wedding clothes 

with breast-pieces having 12 jewels on each of them. 

The breast-pieces represent the priests of God.

The torch in their hand symbolizes an evangelist 

who ignites the fire of heaven into this world. 

This person is a light that brings the world out from darkness.

Shinchonji National Olympiad held every 4 years,

the Shinchonji National Olympiad is a massive event

featuring sports, mass games, and various other activities. 

The large-scale events show “Heavenly Culture,” featuring "a spectacular 12,000-member card performances that stretch across the stadium seats, 

painting a story of God's 6,000 years of work",

The 6th Shinchonji Culture of Heaven and Arts Olympiad on September 16, 2012 was also the debut of the World Peace Initiative,and the event was simultaneously billed 

as the "6th World Peace Festival." 

Shinchonji presented the culture of heaven,

in accordance to the Bible, throughout the Olympiad 

in an unparalleled manner.It was a miraculous sign showing God's working and being with Shinchonji today.
